What is happening in pilot areas?
Melbourne CBD
After 6 weeks, the “RR&R (Reduce Reuse & Recycle) Challenge” came to a close on Friday 17 November. A broad range of businesses within the CBD participated in the challenge to raise the profile of environmentally friendly practices within the workplace and make staff members aware of how they can contribute to the prevalent issue of climate change.
The ideas and initiatives of each of the participants have been submitted for judging and the winners will be announced at the prize giving bonanza at Hard Rock Café on Tuesday 5 December (details above).
Prizes will be awarded to teams who display a creative flair and an ability to implement simple yet effective initiatives to help reduce, reuse and recycle their paper and cardboard.
For businesses in the pilot sites please contact Grow Me The Money and join us on the journey towards a more profitable and sustainable business NOW! Ph 1800 309 650 or email enquiries@growmethemoney.com.au
Western Metropolitan Region (WMR)
On Monday 16 October Grow Me The Money hosted a workshop in the WMR of local councils, business leaders and service providers to begin to identify the key economic and environmental issues facing the west. With the assistance of local champion, Barbara McLure (pictured below with Judith North of Cowland North Architects), Grow Me The Money has established an ongoing reference group to lead the work with local business and deliver successful outcomes for the pilot participants.
