Bronze Club kicking goals at the MCG

The Grow Me The Money team launched their action packed 2008 events season with a sell out Bronze Club Lunch at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
|
The event kicked off with a heart warming welcome from the program's fearless leader Kate Nicolazzo, leading into an introductory presentation from Program Coordinator, Gemma White. The rest of the Grow Me The Money team stepped up to the mic for a brief introduction, giving Participants the opportunity to put faces to names. Barney Milles, guest speaker from the EPA stopped by for a fun and interactive chat that confirmed why we were all there, and congratulated the new recruits (the 'button pushers', or 'helpers of the button pushers') on their commitment to the program.
|
With all the serious stuff out of the way, lunch was rolled out, giving everyone the chance to meet, mingle and discuss their strategies and reasons for joining up to Grow Me The Money. Attendees finished off the day with a tour of the new National Sports Museum (officially opened the day prior), and from the smiles on the attendees faces, I would definitely say this was a goal 'scored' for the Grow Me The Money team.

For those that were unable to attend, don't fear, there's still more to come. Another Bronze Club Lunch has been scheduled for Friday 25 July, as listed in our Events Centre.
