Enhancing Sustainability in New Investment
|
Financial support is now available to encourage companies to adopt best practice investment that results in reduced water use, energy use and/or waste. The Enhanced Sustainability in New Investment program provides funding of 50% of total project cost, up to a $100,000 maximum.

Sustainability Fund
|
Funding for practical and affordable solutions to tackle climate change and help Victoria reduce its environmental impact. Projects must incorporate a strong partnership focus, have significant in-kind support and have detailed project plans for tackling sustainability across a number of different sectors.

WATER
|
Savewater! Awards
|
The Savewater! Awards are held annually and recognise water conservation achievements
and a commitment to achieving a range of sustainable outcomes. Recognition rather than monetary based program.
|
Smart Water Fund
|
Encourages and supports innovative development of water, biosolids recycling and water saving projects within the community. Jointly operated by City West Water, South East Water, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water, together with the Victorian Government.
|
Sustainable Melbourne Fund
|
The Sustainable Melbourne Fund was established by the Melbourne City Council and provides financial assistance and investment in water-saving infrastructure for local organisations.
|
City West Water - Water Conservation Solutions Program
|
Funding opportunities may be available for eligible water efficiency projects, such as the provision of check-meters to measure water consumption in key areas of your organisation.

Stormwater and Urban Water Recycling Fund
|
Funding for projects that will demonstrate good local solutions for harvesting stormwater and recycling used water.
|
ENERGY
|
Renewable Energy Support Fund
|
Funding available to businesses proposing to develop and install renewable energy technologies that increase the uptake of medium-scale sustainable energy supply in Victoria. Funding of up to 20% of project capital cost is available to approved projects.
|
Climate Ready Program
|
Competitive grants program providing grants from $50,000 up to $5m on a matching funding basis to support research and development, proof-of-concept and early-stage commercialisation activities to develop solutions to climate change challenges.

Re-tooling for climate change
|
Australian small and medium sized manufacturers will be able to apply for grants from $10,000 to $500,000 for initiatives such as investing in energy efficient manufacturing tools, small scale co-generation plants and water recycling.
|
Green Building Fund
|
Funding available for Australian businesses to implement cost saving energy efficiency measures through retrofitting and retro-commissioning of existing commercial office buildings.

Resource Recovery Funds
|
Funding available for projects that achieve significant resource recovery and innovative recycling of waste materials through the establishment of new facilities, upgrades to plant and equipment or the development of new systems.
